Our purpose
With bees, impact multiplies
To you: Bringing the healing benefits of pure and raw bee products, with integrity
Did you know honey is the third most faked food in the world? Around one third of honey distributed worldwide (up to 76% in the US) is adulterated or fake.
The rest is often completely stripped of its benefits through overprocessing and pasteurization
Our bee products are 100% natural and authentic, with traceable pollen tags—and all the disease-fighting nutrients—retained in our honey. Reach out to us at any time and we’ll tell you the name of your beekeeper - a woman who is empowering her life, thanks to you.
We are even looking into setting up a livestream so that you can watch the hives grow with us!
Did you know that many commercial lip balms make dry lips worse?
To Karasani, Kenya: Partnering to rebuild lives and communities through bees
Welcome to the informal settlement of Karasani. It’s a beautiful, vibrant, and full of incredible people, but it’s also home to some of the worst economic, health, and educational outcomes you might picture.
They hives offer a brand new path. We work with women and girls escaping hunger, poverty, and abuse as they rebuild their lives.
Did you know that beekeeping is associated with longer lifespan, according to a 2015 NIH study?
To our global ecosystem: Thoughtfully and sustainably restoring the environment
Global bee populations are in decline, threating pollination and putting global food security at risk. Without bees, our ecosystem would collapse.
However, where you build matters - to support species balances, honeybees are best propogated where they are indigenous, including this region in Kenya.
Fostering bee populations is priority for the United Nations —they designated May 20th World Bee Day!
We believe in locally-driven initiatives, sustainable development over dependency cycles, and bringing together as many stories and skills as we can into a whole greater than the sum of its parts.
By donating or buying our products,
you become part of the story too.
